Guage?

Has anyone had to go up to size 7 or 8 needles to get the correct guage? I didn't think I was that tight of a knitter but I've been seeing this trend in the last few things I've made. I'm using the yarn called for in the pattern: Lamb's Pride Cotton Fleece.

Yep, I'm using size 8. I tend to knit tight, but usually have to only go up one size. With Cotton Fleece, I have to go up 2 sizes. Kind of a bummer, I like how it looks at a tighter gauge.

I'm a loose knitter usually but I did have to go up to size 7 to get gauge.

Me too. I'm a tight knitter, apparently, and I almost always have to go up two sizes to get the gauge. This is also my second sweater. The first one is way too big and looks awful. So I'm making another! Yay!
