intro post :)

hello, everyone!

i started my green gable (with knitpicks main line in dusty lavender) the other day, and it's moving along pretty well.

i'm almost done with the lace section and have a quick question: after part B, it says to "Repeat Parts A and B 6 (i'm knitting up the medium size.) times EACH. 24 total rounds." should the first 4 rounds (2 from part A and 2 from part B) be counted in that total? what i assumed i was supposed to do was knit parts A and B, and then do 6 repeats of those sections, but now i'm not so sure.

thanks in advance for your help!

eta: my progress so far...

i wasn't sure either. i just kept knitting until i liked how it looked! my row guage is always wonky, so i simply repeated the lace pattern as far as i wanted it to go. you can just continue on with stockinette when you're ready. be sure to try it on though!

What you thought was correct, meaning that you repeat BOTH 6 times...looks beautiful, esp. in the sunlight!

cool. so, i'll be doing a total of 28 rows, if i count the intial part A and B rows.
