Red Velvet Gable

Here is my second GG, this time in Knitpicks Mainline, Red Velvet. The gauge was just about the same as my first (in Cascade Sierra) and thus everything went smoothly. I, again, did some more decreases for the waist and some on the arms. Good thing I did because I only had a teeny bit of yarn left! If I ever make that 3/4 sleeved version that I have been dreaming of, I will have to make sure to get enough...

Wow! That looks amazing!

How many skeins of the Main Line did it take? And what size did you make?

(Thoughts turning to the Main Line sitting in my stash.)

I used six skeins of Main Line. I am noticing now that it is a bit snugger than my original (or maybe the one I did in Cascade Sierra is just stretching out!) and I made the size medium. I did, however, do a number of waist decreases (5 or six sets on each side) so if you are doing fewer then I would recommend at least 7 skeins.

It looks great! I was thinking about doing one in Main Line; I'm glad to see yours was a success!
